Solo one review : after watching recording

 Fight For Me - Heathers - You enter the stage with confidence, Chloe. You characterise well with facial expressions and have considered your costume too. You effectively use the stage with real focus throughout the song. You demonstrate good mic technique. You start off a little nervous in terms of your voice wobbling and this happens at points during the song. You were well rehearsed and you demonstrated at points awareness of intonation for the most part and your diction was clear. You struggled with some of the top notes in this towards the end and this prevented you from consistent technical accuracy but you still went for in the performance. This is a challenging song but you were well prepared for. Well done.

My Personal feedback :

After watching my solo back I felt very Confident about some elements of my solo. For example when it came to the way I used stage presence to perform this piece I felt that I did this effectively throughout to portray the emotions that I wanted to do so. Along with this, I believe that my use of facial expressions were effective and helped portray the right emotions for the solo that I was performing, and this can be seen throughout the whole solo.

However, if there was anything that I could go back and improve, I would like to work more on some of the notes towards the end of the solo. In the solo, near the end, you can hear that the delivery along with the strength was not the best and this in turn lowered my technical accuracy - So to improve this for further solos, I will be working on my lung strength along with my ability to sing notes that are higher up in my chest voice. Along with this, when watching the solo back, I felt that although not a lot of movement can be done during this solo, I would have liked to explored the space more and how I could move it around the space - To do this I feel that I need to become more confident as a performer and gain confidence to make movements bigger and bolder. 

However, For my first ever solo that I have done at Suffolk One, I am proud of the quality that I performed it to.
