Winter Concert #3

 WINTER CONCERT

In our last rehearsal for the winter concert the year 13 and 12 classes came together and we rehearsed both of the songs that we will be singing when it comes to the winter concert this Wednesday. 

When it came to Heart of stone we went through the song and re went over the harmonies so that we could guarantee that the song would be up to its best quality for when we go to perform it.

When it came to Treat people with kindness, we went over the harmonies for that and sung it through, whilst also finalising movements to go with it. 

TODAYS WARM-UP:

when it came to todays singing warm up we started doing shoulder rolls and head rolls, along with massages for our face muscles. After this we then did some breathing exercises, which included breathing in for four, holding for four and then out for four. We continued this for 6 and 8 counts. After this we did an exercise that we breathed in for 8 and then let the air out on a sss sound. After this we then went on to do some tongue twisters, for example which witch would wear which watch. After these we then went on to doing some sirening of the word sing and then some scales for our vowels. We then did some number scales, which included the 12345 54321 exercise.
