Six Flash mob #2

 FLASH MOB #2:

For our second flash mob that we did at Suffolk One, we performed two numbers to the college. These included Don't lose your head and Heart of stone.

Before we performed these two numbers in the style of a flash mob, we did a warm up to make sure that we were all ready to do them with out risking injuries. For our physical warmup it was lead by Emma and Saskia, who are our dance captains for Six. For our physical warmup with did a bunch of stretches along with some cardio just to make sure that we were are prepared as we could be. After this we then did a singing warm-up which was lead by Lois. We started doing shoulder rolls and head rolls, along with massages for our face muscles. After this we then did some breathing exercises, which included breathing in for four, holding for four and then out for four. We continued this for 6 and 8 counts. After this we then went on to do some tongue twisters, for example red lorry, yellow lorry. After these we then went on to doing some sirening of the word sing and then some scales for our vowels. We then did some number scales, which included the 1 1 2 1 exercise. After this we then did the I like the flowers song, to help get everyone in a positive mood.

After this we went over the two numbers that we were going to do and how we were going to perform them in the space that we had when it came to doing the flash mob. After we had done this we then polished them and went out into the space where we got ready to start our flash mob.

This was the second ever flash mob that I had ever done in my life, and due to having all ready done one I felt a lot more ready when it came to doing this one. In my opinion, the flash mob went well and we all performed very well in it.

Personally, I think that I did well when it came to the flash mob, as I felt a lot more confident in my abilities to perform the numbers. I could have improved by not feeling as nervous when it came to what we were doing, so for the next time we do a flash mob I plan to bring more confidence to my performance and try to block out everyone around me so I feel a lot less nervous.
